. None of the larger chains (Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, Marriott, Accor) appear to be lowering prices - it’s a Thai thing, I learned, in my time living in BKK. Interestingly, at the Aloft (where I stayed a few nights earlier in the month), they were packed - predominantly with male Indian guests - and the manager there shared that they haven’t seen a dip in bookings. The only more luxe Marriott property that seems to have dropped it’s pricing is the Madi Paidi, though the Ritz was at $379/night when I looked for later this month, which seems to be down significantly from where they started at opening.
Conrad have very good price actually with Hilton luxury (100usd credit + BF),
(during Easter I paid ~140 Eur /night tax included w club lounge and according room + credit 100usd.)
Also Waldorf Astoria is available w price around 200Eur. w credit and BF. (Hilton luxury), even cheaper than Sheraton Sukhumvit
