Had what I consider to be a spectacular stay at the GH Macau. Since we were traveling with kids, used SUA to secure standard suite. Kids were given kids shampoo/soap, kids sized slippers and robes. Gave family member a GOH and booked her room using points, and she was upgraded to the same standard suite with Wynn Palace fountain view. Great view. 4pm checkout was given to both rooms without asking. We arrived before noon, and they had us in the lounge waiting less than 30 minutes before the room was ready. Able to check in early with kids after traveling is always a privilege.

The breakfast selection and quality is tremendous, far outstripping something like the GH Taipei. Its breadth is wider than the Andaz and PH Tokyo, and a lot of the food items are really high quality. The roasted ham is the best I've ever had. Freshly made jianbing, shengjianbao, bolo bao, cheong fun, etc. The restaurant seems well known for its dinner lobster buffet. During breakfast, they had seafood congee with lobster everyday. Chinese hot food, noodle station, dim sum, western pastries, egg station, salad and cold cuts, Hong Kong milk tea, fresh watermelon juice, etc etc all were good to very good quality. Western or Chinese tea pots both use loose leaf tea. The restaurant is spacious, never feels crowded. Even for those used to such buffets in Asia, this one stands out.

Club lounge on 37th floor is beautiful. Evening cocktail hour has decent enough a selection to put together a dinner. Club lounge manager came by to chat and solicit feedback multiple times. And that reflects the overall level of service at the hotel. The bell desk guy we interacted with on the first day addressed me by name each subsequent time.

A great experience.
