Well unfortunately I didnt get to test out my foot speed + navigating all of the other logistical issues. My flight out of LHR was delayed for another hour as we were pushed off the gate for the cargo areas to be reloaded after too much weight was loaded into the front of the plane. With no more seats open on ORD-DFW for the day, I ended up flying to MCI and (after another hour delay for the 320 coming up from DFW) made it to DFW about 24 hours after waking up at a Heathrow airport. I'll have to keep training for the next time I maybe get the chance to pull off an impossible connection!
