Kind of of Orwellian and creeps me out a bit, but your DL picture is searchable, and in overwhelming probability so is your passport. (The drugstore photo guy who took mine retook till "the system" said he got enough "clear points of identity" and approved the picture. He showed me his screen, which had X marks all over my face). If you have PreCheck (and I suppose Clear) they took another picture.
