Having multiple connections, let alone multiple flights, in a single day - with more of the same the next day - is a big risk. One misconnect and everything falls apart.

Agreed, Also it might not even need to be a Jetblue issue,, plans could go awry because of one bad weather day in NYC or FLL or any destination that could have bad weather
