Recently ate at Oceans in Birmingham which is located right off 20th street a bit south of the area called southside. I must say, this is a good upscale restaraunt in Birmingham.

Oceans offers a great variety of fresh seafood mixed with a few meats such as filet & chicken but tailors their menu towards fresh seafood. While pricey, the atmosphere is great as one has the opportunity to dine more formally inside or more casually outside in an enclosed area with light enterainment. The wine list is what I would consider good and wide spread though not extensive.

Good to see that Birmingham has a new upscale restaraunt added to the dining scene. This is a nice place for that special dining occassion but remember this is an upscale restaraunt on the scale of others in the Birmingham market.
