Do you need CDW, i.e., do you not have a credit card that provides coverage for the rental vehicle? For sure take a 360 degree video of the vehicle and document even the smallest dings and scratches before leaving the rental lot, though.

I have used autoslash countless times, in the U.S. and in Europe. I have also rented from Europcar before with no issues.
