One thing we weren't aware of was the need to tip... Nothing was mentioned during the booking process about tips, and we just assumed as this was a European cruise, tips wouldn't be expected. Of course, it appeared we were the only non North Americans so tipping was expected. €5 a day each for the cruise director and entertainment mananger, plus more the rest of the crew.

Assuming 150 people paid, that's over €5000 each for the 7 days for the cruise director and entertainment mananger. 😀
