View was good. We actually only caught the tail end as we were out eating and time flew by, but I'd do it again.

I have always found the Andaz a bit overrated, personally. Definitely not a bad hotel as such but comparing:
- I find the rooms fairly minimalist and lacking in any sort of 'soul'. When I've had suites I've always ended up with a meh view. The Standard rooms felt a lot more alive and vibrate, all in a classy way. And I feel like (given the building) it'll be easier to get a view/natural light of some sort if you're at The Standard
- The in room breakfast at The Andaz is definitely a great feature. I think Standard has the edge if you want to actually dine in the restaurant. Just prefer the setting
- Depends what you're in the city for, but I think being in lower manhattan is more 'fun'
