Doing research on booking business award flights from Eugene to Bucharest. Leaving July 25th, 2026 so have about a month or so before the window opens. The only availability I currently see is for AS (EUG-SEA) and QR (SEA-DOH-OTP) with the farthest out date of 6/2/26. This would be 255,000 miles per person. I know it is a lot of miles but I have a lot of miles so may choose to do it. My question is has anyone recently booked a QR business award on the AS site and had it go through? I am curious because if all of this is phantom, I need to look at other avenues. I hesitate to do a phantom booking only because I don't want it to cost me the $25 non-refundable service fee. Thanks!!
