Dear friends, I will be flying my 4 yearly segments in a few months and would like to buy some duty free liquor in the departing airport (EVN) on the way back.
Question is: any experience with transiting on ATH with sealed duty free bags? I know there is a security checkpoint even if arriving ex-Schengen and transiting ex-Schengen so I want to avoid surprises.

(Had a terrible incident at CTG when doing a status point run some 10 years go. They took my rum away, check-in was closed arround one hour before the flight and the check-in attendant didn't check my bag on a later flight as per CM rules, I only found about that rule too late... I am pretty sure airport employees do that on purpose to get some free booze/make some extra cash)
