Stayed three nights here last August on points and cash. Yes, the property is old, but then it's Europe where everything is old. Found the staff very friendly, breakfast was adequate and the location was great. Did not eat any other meal at the hotel as there are so many fine restaurants in Firenze. As others have stated, it's about a 5-10 minute walk from Stazione Maria Santa Novella. Have booked another stay for next May. All things considered, it's priced right in line with other properties.
