The group was led to the big conference room upstairs and everyone was handed a badge and limited edition reflective vests after ID checks.
Then we had the pleasure of listening to a presentation by one of ARN's Airport Technical & Operative Supervisor (ATOS) who was also in charge of our aircraft's visit detailing their many daily works that ensures smooith operations in and out of the airport. ATOS duties include issuing NOTAMs, and several major Swedish airports with remote ATC facilities also have their NOTAM issued by Arlanda ATOS.
The manager in charge of Arlanda VIP/CIP service then introduced their work. Inevitably, someone cleared his throat and asked the question shared by all that is how much closer would a visit brings one to bankruptcy. The manager was vague in a joking fashion ("well, it depends...") but according to the published price list single entry costs 6,995 SEK, closer to 700 USD. If it's a group transit then it's more reasonable, 1,400USD for up to 3 passengers. Moving an extra bag costs 500 SEK though. This does not seem so bad compared with some numbers I got to glimpse through
SFO777 's posts.
