Have been advised that we are going to be downgraded on a transatlantic flight tonight, from Club to something not yet specified. Before I call them wanted to confirm if we can ask for a reroute on a different airline, the next day. There is a flight on United/Swiss the next day that is the next best option, can we insist on being booked on that? Plus what is the compensation give that this is an Avios with companion voucher booking. There are no BA or One World flights with availability (even with connections) that meet our schedule needs.
