A mesmerizing time machine flight over Stockholm

I have not been so excited about something in a while. Yes, trips with expensive bubbly in never-drying flutes, Michelin-starred catering and seats with a thousand massage functions are never boring. But the sheer excitment coming from such experience seems to cap at a certain level, and one loses marginal interests as traveling in business and first class becomes a quantifiable number on some logs or ledgers. On the other hand, the threshold to speed up the heartbeats of my slightly nerdy (just slightly?) inner self appears to remain at consistently low level. With the distinct pleasure and priviledge of flying in a 1943 DC-3 painted in its glorious historic SAS chrome livery during a home-coming trip to Stockholm Arlanda and additionally exploring behind-the-scenes operations at the airport, my tachycardia has yet to subside and an aviation beta blocker is probably urgently needed!
