It's not Supercomfort (as it was last year) any longer - Air Canada Club is a new Class between J and Y getting a superior service (meals, lounge access, priority checkin, baggage etc, but the Domestic J style seating). There's a "Air Canada Club" thread going and there are postings from member(s) in that thread stating Aeroplan staff have told them a SWU or SSWU will be required for upgrade. Also some mention about paying an extra amount at Check-in for an upgrade as well.
Haven't seen any postings in that thread about reward points required for the Club class, but if they're taking SWU/SSWU then I'd lay you odds that they'll probably want J reward points for the cabin as well.
