If it happens to be your next upcoming stay, the "Almost Time" panel in the app has a button to text the hotel (also appears if you tap on the Contact tab at the bottom)

The contact tab also has a link for in-app chat, under "Direct Messaging". I usually send a DM on X though so I don't know how well this interface works.
