Greenwich is essentially an AA Flagship Lounge, where (the very good) Piper is free-pour across the network - one of the rare positives about AA and lounges in the US, actually.

I imagine AA goes through a tonne of champagne. When chatting with the bartender at Chelsea, he said they went through 51 bottles of LPGS in one afternoon - and it's on request. I can't imagine how many cases of Piper Heidsieck get consumed weekly in the US at AA lounges...

BA is cost-cutting for Galleries Club. Nothing else.
