Long time lurker with a question I don't think I see answered in the wiki.

I have 25k status expiring in at the end of 2025 and likely won't renew. However, I have some eUpgrades that don't expire until January 2027.

I have a YYZ-MBJ-YYZ trip in January 2026 booked in Economy Flex and am able to apply my eUpgrades to that booking online. However, at the time of travel, I likely won't have any aeroplan status. At the time of travel, will I be treated as a 25K because that was my status at the time of the eUp request or will I be treated as non-status aeroplan member (and therefore would never clear unless my booking was in Latitude or PE Flex)? ie - is there any point in requesting this?
