Oh boy…. Not good news regarding the „new boarding procedure“ for the E195s I just experienced at CPH.

“we will not start boarding until all big carry-on items like cabin rollers or larger backpacks are checked in“.

They really tried to force ALL people on the gate area to check all stuff bit bigger than a purse or laptop bag into the hold. And not the „delivery at the aircraft“-option as they used to for the CRJs.

I purposely walked away from the gate to escape the cabin roller patrol - as there was no f-ing way I‘ll check it in to the hold. Then I would wait hours in BER and for sure miss my train onwards.

After like 95% of larger items were loaded, priority boarding began. And nobody complained about my full size cabin roller.

edit:// funny enough, now the overhead bins are almost empty 8) And at least the EBD seat blocking seemed to have worked.
