SFO is 13 miles from the nearest in-town location, often 30-45 minutes with traffic. And the notion that Hertz SFO ops either cares enough or has the ability to request a specific car be brought to the airport to satisfy a single customer kind of boggles the mind. Not to mention that SFO has way more inventory than any of the in-town locations, all of which are relatively small operations.
