Comments: This is a new property in the heart of the Savannah Historic District. I didn't like the layout of the suite. The bedroom was cramped with very little space around the king bed and the desk jammed in at the foot of the bed. Bathroom was huge with a very large shower and overall similar size to the bedroom. The sitting area was 1.5 times the size of the bedroom with a large couch and a large TV. It would have been better if more space was allocated to the bedroom and less to the sitting area or if the desk was in the sitting area. Lighting was dim. The A/C took a long time to cool the room fully (overnight). Once it was cool, it could maintain the temperature. Staff were attentive. Also on the positive side, Lavender restaurant on the eighth floor was very nice. Good food at reasonable prices with a nice view of the river. It was great to be able to get a nice dinner without braving the high temp. and high humidity outside. I didn't try the AC breakfast offering. Overall, I'd probably try the Full Service Marriott nearby or perhaps The Kimptom Brice or The Indigo for my next trip to the area.
