I disagree. When I make a reservation via Marriott.com, I check both the senior & the A/CAA rates. I often find better deals on both, I checked recently @ the Marriott YVR and the best rate was, in fact, the C/AAA rate. The other advantage is the special rates can be cancelled. @ The Sheraton Centre in Montreal in June, I switched my res to points when they had a Points Saver deal. My conclusion............check early and often!
