I left the airport around 11pm on a Friday. Took Taxi Green, kiosk just outside the terminal at door 1. Was 65 sol (about 19 USD) to Miraflores, near Kennedy Park. Paid at the kiosk via credit card. Worked fine. Not much traffic, so maybe 35 min or so.
The ATMs, even with major banks, seem to be a rip off with high fees. Next time I need sols I might actually inquire about exchanging the USD that I have. I think I will get these fees refunded but still. Most places take credit cards, so the need for cash isn't that great.
I used the Metropolitano (buses with fixed stations and reserved traffic lanes, kind of like light rail). 3.2 sol per trip, about 0.90 USD. worked fine, though I avoided rush hours. The stations are not super friendly--for example, the ticket machines are only in Spanish and there is little explanation of the various bus types. Good to do research before getting to the station. For visitors, it isn't that hard once you figure it out as Barranco, MIraflores, and Centro Historico are all on the same line, but there are different bus types (regular v. express for example).
I used Uber once from near the Presidential Palace to Miraflores -- 30 sol (8.50 USD or so). Worked fine.
