So, the issue that caused the safety cabinet trip has been patched up (HAL is keen to say it is a temporary fix, not the solution to the root cause of the problem). The problem was so impactful, prolonged and continuous that not only they've filled up the T5 Baggage Recovery Facility, they've also filled the one in T4 and there are full bins with bags on, waiting to be re-flown, in the bin stores and on stand 568. We're talking tens of thousands of bags.

People are working flat out to refly all the bags, but we've got also to take into account the environment. Yesterday the temperature in the BRF was about 40 celsius...

I think all bags will be reflown today/tomorrow if the system holds. Yesterday it was really a nasty one, it just kept on stopping and starting, stopping and starting.
