Way too much obsession about this guys. Kibris is not considered for this promotion because TK does not want it considered for this promotion. Why is not important. However I will posit that while Turkey considers Kibris an independent government, the route always has priced more like a Domestic route than an international one, especially as pretty much all scheduled commercial flights to there originate in Turkey. There are similarities with other airlines and FF programs. There are programs that consider Sahel Countries as Europe for earning or redemptions, and there are others viceversa. US carriers consider many Caribbean countries as domestic, or don't consider them international for lounge purposes, etc etc. Yes SSH is located in Asia, but the other 99% of Egypt is Africa, etc etc.
