IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with PT Mustika Adiperkasa and GHS K.K. to open Kimpton Bali Ubud, the first Kimpton property in Indonesia and the first IHG hotel in Ubud.
The opening is scheduled for early 2026.
Located near the WOS River and within walking distance of Ubud Palace, the hotel will offer 101 rooms, three restaurants, a café/deli, a gym, spa and swimming pool. One of the restaurants will be IMAMURA, led by Michelin-starred Chef Imamura, offering Japanese cuisine.
This project continues the partnership between IHG and GHS K.K., already active in Japan, and adds to IHG’s luxury and lifestyle presence in Indonesia, where it currently operates 31 hotels with 11 more in development.
Kimpton Bali Ubud joins existing IHG brands in the country such as Regent and Six Senses.
Kimpton has expanded its footprint in Asia in recent years with hotels in Taipei, Bangkok, and Samui. Further openings are planned in Kuala Lumpur, Frankfurt, Marbella, Riyadh, Hainan, Crete, and Hong Kong.
