The Hyatt Place Changsha Airport is the best 57 USD hotel I have ever tried. Here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:

• Bed is very comfortable - plush mattress, plush pillows, very plush covers for China
• Shower pressure is very strong and good
• There is a free shuttle to the airport running every 30 minutes
• They did offer Joyflight VIP service for free - not sure if this was because of Globalist - I ended up not using this as I was early enough to just go through the processes myself and didn’t want to cause undue issues
• Nice setting with geese running around
• Upgraded to Lake View - nice as Hyatt Place doesn’t have to upgrade

Neutral:

• Breakfast - it’s fine for the price point - just fried eggs, Chinese dishes, no forks - fried eggs were good - coffee machine wouldn’t dispense milk drinks - just black coffee

Cons:

• AC is really not very effective - both in the common areas and in the rooms - it’s great in the elevator, though :-)
