The use of satire is always easily misinterpreted, and therefore, one needs to be careful and clear.

Normally this sort of personal attack would be completely deleted, but will delete just the most overtop content. To many the quoted response was clearly satire but understand that from a certain POV it appears to be a condemnation. However, on FT, we do not retort with such responses. You make some good points BUT then get into wholly inappropriate comments about another poster. If you feel a need to defend your co-workers, that is fine, but don't turn that defense into an attack of another poster. No double standard because if another poster attacked you, they would be admonished. A calm, fact based post will do far more good than one filled with invectives.
