TOGALK : I appreciate the work that all United employees do to get me where I need to go, and I have absolutely no issues with an NRSA taking any seat in the cabin. Some of my favorite on-board conversations have been with people who are commuting or deadheading.

Except the NRSA should not be taking any seat in the cabin - they should be taking a seat assigned to them after eligible revenue customers have been upgraded, and the revenue standby list has been cleared, which includes putting revenue customers into priority seats. NRSA then gets what's left. That's how flying for free works. If everyone is cleared, and there are remaining seats open in E+ or exit rows, then sure, the NRSA can sit there.
