I thought this was an easy question but can't find a simple answer - I have an AA marketed/operated ticket (with 1 segment on American Eagle) coming up for PHL-DFW-ICT and reverse. I'm debating whether to credit to AA or QR. I'm trying to figure out how to use the Qpoints calculator for this as I get 2 different answers depending on whether I search a roundtrip PHL-ICT or I search 2 roundtrips - PHL-DFW and DFW-ICT. Can someone confirm which is correct? I thought it was the latter, but that will make or break which airline I credit to.
In the past if you selected a partner (AA) and entered the start and end location with transfer, the end airport would not even show up. To my surprise it does show. But as the previous poster pointed out you need to check by segment after selecting AA.
