Being acute to noise I can easily accept someone with earbuds being head down in a laptop and carrying on a business conversation at reasonable levels. It seems justified to me as they are just doing their job.

BUT if people are passing time and talking about how Aunt Gloria's house is a mess or a complete War and Peace on their hotel experience,.. That irks me.
