I'm more amazed post-9/11 anyone takes security for granted. Flying on a multi-million dollar aircraft is a privilege, not a right, so find out what ID is needed, and carry the damn thing. The States are going through the predictable hiccups with the recent change to require a REAL ID. The number of pax turned away at the US airports in the last month for lack of proper ID shows that will clients will troll the internet hours to save $20 on a fare, but neglect to keep up with what they need to do to actually get on the plane. Libertarians like to argue about the incursion into "privacy rights", but what nonsense - you want to fly on MY airline, then you need to follow MY rules. Not a high bar!
