Maybe it's different with other plans but on my plan I pay the .20 US roaming/LD plus .20CA usage. I'm on the $70 unlimited local calling throughout Canada.

I believe it's cheaper than anyone else's roaming rates(some are up to $2 a minute) but it's still too much for me. I spent almost $500 one month when I ran a convention in Chicago.
