unlike most airlines on earth CX is heavily vertically integrsted with Swire and its own subsidiaries and should be using that to its advantage.

Agree to disagree.CX ≠ HAECO. Vertical integration does not bypass rules and let CX carte blanche HAECO’s deal flow.
Point still stands that it’s a sunk cost trap. Aria may as well be obsolete by the time last Aria jet emerges with how slow it already has been. I’d much rather want CX to focus and ramp up production of a
real next gen J product.
