Got to watch a flyer in the gate house have a fit when told he got a middle seat. Heard the agent tell him “sir unfortunately basic economy seats are assigned last and due to a cancellation earlier today all that is left are middle”. The adult sized toddler said he’s always been able to buy a better seat in the past. Agent shrugged
