No, they don't let you - you have to take breakfast in the club lounge, citing something about being a convention hotel and thus not being subject to Marriott rules. Which sounded like convenient bs to me, but whatever.

Also, the club lounge puts out self-service wine and beer between 5pm and 7pm... then presents you with a bill for it! I complained and got the charge removed, despite the aggressive protest of some kind of F&B manager who tried to argue with his own front desk, but ... jeez. They even mentioned drinks between 5 and 7 when we checked in, it never crossed my mind that these would be chargeable (otherwise, why advertise it?) Sure, lounges in the USA often charge for alcohol but you have to order through an attendant or there's a price list somewhere. It makes even less sense that the lounge here is right next door to the bar, so you might as well just go there. Also, most hotels that don't offer eg happy hour drinks will offer a coupon for a drink or two at check-in - again, not here.

Avoid any rooms ending 09 ... there's a persistent loud electrical hum.
