Sounds very scary, now I am gonna have a new worry that a pilot may do that.....Perhaps the manufacturer should develop a mechanism to make that impossible at very low take off altitude, or add some kind of really loud warning....
They require specific manipulation to change them from one position to another, they are not like common light switches that can be flicked up or down by a finger.
It has to be done deliberately, and I believe the manipulation required means you can't simultaneously move them both with a single hand.
