Stayed here over the July 4 weekend — booked an Amex THC rate to use up the $200 credit. My WoH number didn't seem to get added to the booking despite putting it in on the Amex portal, but called the hotel and they were able to put it in (and the reservation then showed up on the Hyatt app). Booked a Standard Queen and got upgraded at check-in to a Deluxe on a low-ish floor; agree with others that the room is well-designed but showing its age. And the whole open bathroom thing is odd too. Also note no Chromecast on the TV yet.

Similar to others soundproofing wasn't great - could hear music from either the roof or somewhere through 1am or later most nights, as well as lots of doors opening/closing in the hallway, so if you're sensitive to noise would probably try to find someplace else.

Did manage to get a partial glimpse of the fireworks over the East River from the room:

Breakfast was solid; friendly service but slooooow; nothing posted to my folio so didn't have to ask to get charges removed at checkout

However destination fees were charged and not removed even though the front desk agent said at check-out that they were taking them off, so trying to get that sorted now. Stay did post and did get my qualifying nights though. Overall - liked the location and hotel and the food, would probably stay here again if rates are cheap. Noise is definitely an issue though so if you're sensitive to that would not recommend
