I don't try and change them, I just get off at MUC and trash the final sector. The ticket price is lower than buying the single sector only. Happy to let them fly the final sector with an empty seat for trying to shaft local customers on pricing. Not that they will, because they'll have "healthily" overbooked it just in case.
