As for the UK roads, I think they are absolutely the worst in the entire Europe. Besides bigger cities like London or Manchester, rest of the country is one lane road...

Speed cameras don't save lives. They are installed only for one reason. Profit. If governments cared about safety, they would apply different means of penalties besides monetary.
Yes, UK roads are way worse than US roads but UK drivers are usually much better than US drivers.
