hi all, just wondering if anybody has stayed at both hotels in Liverpool. Usually I'd expect Blu to be more upscale than Red but in Liverpool it seems it's consistently cheaper than Red.
Red seems to have been refurbished recently while reviews of Blu mention the hotel being 'tired' and 'in need of a refurb'.
For the dates I'm looking at, Blu is 35% cheaper than Red, I'm trying to figure out which of the two I should pick. I have VIP status so I'd hope I should get a nice upgrade at either property. Are premium rooms at Blu really that bad?
