  • still some minor catering/provisioning issues - today it was no hot towels for the second Polaris cabin, and blue tray cloths and grey napkins for the first meal.. but white for the second!
  • First Meal
    • warm nuts 10/10 - zero pretzels!
      Spoiler

    • smoked duck appetizer - solid, though the granny smith apple wedge appeared to be a case of seriously false advertising
      Spoiler

    • salad - the salad was great, but the LEMON dressing would have been much preferred!
      Spoiler

    • and the spicy chicken - well, it hit the spot. It would be a lie to say that it was the spicy chicken I remember of days gone by, but it would be a truth to say that I will be ordering this when available
      Spoiler

    • dessert - I had the caramel toffee crunch ice cream with olive oil cake crumbles. Much, much better than the vanilla. However it was closer to caramel toffee soup than crunch.
      Spoiler

    • bonus dessert - it said lemon curd cheesecake, but at best that described the top layer. whatever it was, it was good, albeit on the sweet side
      Spoiler

  • Mid-flight Snack
    • Most unusual presentation of the grilled cheese I've come across. Also was much closer to a plain cheese sandwich given the insufficient heating. Yes, the packaged snacks were part of what was delivered to me
      Spoiler

    • The soup was offered on delivery and showed up moments later
      Spoiler

  • Pre-Arrival Meal
    • Wasn't really hungry so I tried the French Toast, which I've never done before, and will never do again. The fruits were excellent though!
