Anyone have recent experience with baggage allowance on a United award ticket for a Premier Silver flying on Air Canada metal? Somewhat tempted while shopping for an award ticket but don't want to follow through if I'll get hit with baggage fees.

Also any general experience with Air Canada - should I run the other way or would it be acceptable?
