My complaint is when I checked in online they randomly assigned seats and both times the seats were not seated next to each other. My issue was resolved after much resistance online via chat. Their published policy states they assign them next to the adult and this was not done when seats were assigned during online check-in which is my complaint and they pushed me to wait until the airport in which there'd be fewer options due to others having been assigned seats as they did their check-in.
It would have been handled at the airport. They can move other people around.

I’m no JQ apologist but I think this is overreach. I’m surprised you’re not complaining about their baggage charges if you normally do US carry-on only. That would well exceed JQ limits.
