I've called Alaska twice and not gotten a good response other than general IT issues related to integrating Hawaiian and IT being busy around the holidays.
I'm new to Alaska, c/o Hawaiian CCs and some Amex transfers, and it's super frustrating to not be able to rely on Alaska's site to accurately display AA availability. I've booked a couple of test flights, which have worked (others have not). But I don't think the $12.50 partner fee is refundable even within 24 hours, so I can't keep doing that just to test Alaska's IT. I guess calling Alaska is the best/only way to know if flights are actually bookable without trying myself? Any other ideas or explanations for what's going on? Thanks!
For those showing up in 2025 I also had the issue where I could plainly see a seat was real in AAs system that AS would not book via the website. On AA it showed as 65k and let me proceed to payment. The moment I did the seat disappeared from AS's inventory and tripled in cost with AA. Moment I canceled the hold with AA the seat came right back on both systems.

An AS agent was able to book this over the phone with no issue.
