For what it's worth, here is my experience in applying for a Chase Business Sapphire Reserve card. This was last week. I have a lot of Chase business cards and a lot of credit. I figured I had about a 20% chance of getting the card. I had frozen all 3 credit card reporting agencies. I applied and was immediately told I needed to unfreeze Experien, then call Chase. I did as directed and was immediately approved for the card. I've seen conjecture that they are approving cards more loosely during the first weeks of the card being available.
As a sidebar. be sure that you lower your credit limits on all your chase business cards to under $150K before July 1 2026. If there is a second person at your home who also has Chase business cards, they look at the combined total. Otherwise you are subject to a tax audit and have to supply an extensive amount of documents to Chase. I was given a massive amount of credit on the new card and suspect I need to go thru this exercise again.
