Tangentially related, I wanted to report the below DP here:
We added my wife's new CSR to Apple Pay on June 29th. We purchased tickets on Stubhub using Apple Pay on June 29th. June 30th I'm poking around the Chase app for the new CSR benefits and realize that the Stubhub credit has to be activated. Activate it and begin kicking myself for forgetting that detail. The $150 isn't going to change our lives (it really shouldn't change anyone's life that has this card), but I just felt like an amateur.
Anyways, Stubhub transaction posts July 1. A few days later the credit appears. Shocked - I felt like I just found $150 in the couch cushions. And, it DID use the H1 credit because our H2 credit is still available.
So, two data points:
- Was able to initiate a transaction prior to activation of the benefit, activate the benefit prior to the transaction posting (and the H1 credit rollover date), and still have the credit count.
- It definitely uses the transaction date, not the posting date for application of the credit.
