I love watching those BOAC clips as well as the Concorde ones too which regrettably I never flew on despite IIRC I had the chance to once in the early 90s.

I do wonder, say in 40-50 years time, folks of a completely different generation will look back at flights/passenger experiences on the BA 747's, A380s and enjoy them?
Well even as someone who was by 1982 flying a lot for work in my mid 20's I think it must have been late in 1982 settling down into my hotel and turned on the tv and Blue Peter had a piece about the 757 that BA was to introduce in a few months. Little did I know how many 757 shuttles I would end up on starting in a few months and the following years and how amazing those first lightly loaded Heathrow 757 take offs were after connecting from an overnight 747. Boeing made a huge mistake in retrospect
