Would the truncated/edited version of the PALL list that shows on gate displays and presumably the customer-facing AA app show AA employees flying NRSA on the upgrade list though?
On the full PALL list, an employee traveling on a pass for fun (
not NRPS) would not be on the "upgrade" portion of the Priority List but rather the "standby" portion ranked by status, D1, D2, D2P, etc. regardless of cabin desired.
Would think that only the NRPS passengers would show on the upgrade list and then at priority UPGE. Doubt there's much official company business going to Cabo on a weekend. And if there was, I guarantee you it would get someone's attention!

That seems like a flaw in the system if AA wants to maximize revenue. Were it up to me, I would prioritize Basic Economy fares below all regular fares within status level. AA should want to create a bigger disincentive to buying BE fares.
